NEW!! BARETOES YOGA OPENING INTAMAQUA - On May12th, Baretoes Yoga, 224 West Broad Street, will hold its first class! A wonderful way to start the day, this "Bare Basics" class will have an emphasis on proper alignment and yoga basics for both beginners and more seasoned practitioners. Classes will be held Saturday monings at 10 am, unless otherwise noted. Each class is $10 and will last 90 minutes. St. Luke's Community Health is bringing their vision van to the Tamaqua Area School District on Monday, May 14th. TAMAQUA'S MIGHTY FORTRESS - ZION CHURCH - NEW - a comprehensive, 16-year history of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, written by local author, Fran Stahl, is now available. Stop by the Chamber office, 114 Wet Broad Street, or call Zion Church office (570)668-2180 to pick up a copy. On request, Fran will personally autograph a copy for you. Selling price is $25 and the proceeds will benefit the facade restoration of Zion Church.
