·Fox operates a fleet of late model Peterbilt air ride tractors and high cube 48 and 53-foot air ride reefers capable of distributing deep-frozen food. They also offer dry van and flat bed service. ·Fox offers food distribution, particularly to grocery chains. ·People are saving money by shopping more at the grocery stores and eating at home rather than going out to eat. ·They do continue to deliver cheeses and chocolate to Florida. If you are eating cheeses or chocolate at Disney World or on a cruise ship you are probably eating products delivered by Fox.

·During this past July, Highwood celebrated a 40,400 sq. ft. expansion of its manufacturing plant. They now operate a 68,400 sq. ft. plant with 52 employees. Their total investment in the Park is $10 million. ·The expansion will lead to the creation of 50 new jobs when all the new production lines are completely installed. ·Highwood produces the best, most realistic synthetic (plastic) wood products available today. No other product comes as close to the look and feel of natural wood. The Highwood products are produced in a wide variety of shapes, sizes and colors. ·Highwood sells its products to companies who manufacture items such as: patio furniture (tables and chairs), outdoor benches, and cabinets and trim for hot tubs. Newly developed products include fencing and trim for garden sheds.

One from the Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern Pennsylvania for innovative application of technology in manufacturing and the second for nanotechnology research from the Manufacturers Resource Center, the Lehigh University Technology Network and the Lehigh Workforce Investment Board.

TRANSWESTERN POLYMERS MANUFACTURING
·They manufacture plastic trash bags for private label customers. The Hometown plant operates in order to better service customers in the Midwest and Eastern United States. ·Major customers include Walmart, Family Dollar, and Costco. The Walmart brand is Great Value, the Family Dollar brand is Iron-Clad, and the Costco brand is Kirkland Signature. ·Trans Western’s products are superior and more environmentally-friendly compared to their competition. Through the resin technology they have developed with their suppliers and their state-of-the-art equipment they manufacture thinner, more durable, and better bags using less plastic. ·All new product development for the Trans Western Corporation is carried out at the Hometown facility. Two new products which have recently been developed include an embossed bag which contains an embedded pattern and a flap top bag.

Veolia Water North America-Central, LLC
·Veolia takes the KOH (potassium hydroxide) scrubber solution from Air Products & Chemicals, Inc. nitrogen trifluoride plant (5 – 4,250 gallon tankers per day during normal operations) and treats it, precipitating out the fluorides (as calcium fluoride) and returns the KOH to Air Products. ·The solid calcium fluoride is accumulated in a 40,000-pound container which is filled and trucked to a landfill every other day. ·The plant is operated 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.
